Certified ISV Program
Independent software vendors (ISVs) can become Certified ArchestrA® ISVs if they are third-party software developers who develop products using ArchestrA toolkits. ArchestrA toolkits allow third-party companies to significantly lower their development costs and build a library of "componentized" intellectual property.
We specifically promote Certified ArchestrA ISV products because they are developed based on ArchestrA technology. If you have developed a product using an ArchestrA toolkit, you may be eligible to promote your product to our worldwide sales channel through our Certified ArchestrA ISV program. We promote this feature to build additional credibility about your product to our distributors and users.
Certified ArchestrA ISVs are listed in our ISV Product Library. As a Certified ArchestrA ISV, your product and company will be emphasized more than Registered ArchestrA ISV products. We believe that our Certified ArchestrA ISV program offers you the best opportunity to maximize your products and your company's awareness with Invensys® distributors and customers.
- Increased market awareness. Your product and company will be highlighted in our ISV Product Library as a Certified ArchestrA ISV product and provided to our distributors, SIs and end users three times per year.
- Toolkit upgrades. You will receive ArchestrA toolkit upgrades.
- Product consignments. You will receive Invensys product consignments to assist you with product development and support.
- Program logo. You will receive the Certified ArchestrA ISV logo to promote your company as a Certified ArchestrA ISV in your marketing materials and company website.
- Promotional events. You will receive invitations to special ArchestrA marketing events. These events put you face-to-face with our distributors and customers.
- Lower development costs. You may be invited to participate in Beta product release programs and receive pre-release technology consignments. You can lower your development costs by staying current with ArchestrA toolkits.
- Your product must not compete with Invensys products.
- You must provide information about your company, your product and how your product expands the functionality of the ArchestrA technology.
- You must participate in an Invensys audit of your software development, project management and quality assurance methodologies. The audit confirms that your practices meet the standards to become a Certified ArchestrA ISV.
- You must remain up-to-date on the latest ArchestrA toolkit releases by attending training as new releases of your ArchestrA toolkit of choice become available.
- You must maintain your product(s) by migrating them to the latest ArchestrA toolkit release as it becomes available.
- You must migrate your product(s) to the latest operating system supported by Invensys' ArchestrA Based™ products.
- You must provide direct sales and support for your certified product(s) to users who license your product(s).
- You must keep your ISV listing current in our ISV Product Library. You will be provided with a User ID and password to update your listing online.
A Certified ArchestrA ISV membership costs $500 per year for each product registered as a Certified ArchestrA ISV product.
